I would like to locate a marriage and death record for Simon Andreas Atlaksen. He was born 1859,(Stene) Heskestad, Lund Rogaland. Parents: Atlak Jacobsen and Ingeborg Malene Simonsd. (1865 census 1112 Lunde)Konfirment record for Simon, 11. 10 1874 Heskestad, gives residence as Omdal? ( Omdal is probably correct based on the fact that his father died at store Omdal 28.03 1875)I have not found a 1875 census record for Simon and siblings, Peder johan, Ole Martin and Kristine. They are orphans by this time. They do have an uncle, Lars Jacobson, in the area of store Omdal, it's possible Simon stayed in that area.By 1886 Simons sister resides in the area of Froland, Aust Agder,so it's also possible Simon could be in that area. By 1890 Simon's brother's and his sister are in the USA, but, I have not found any record of Simon after Oct. of 1874. Thank you for any information about Simon. Bette
