What do you know FOR SURE about John? The last 'lenke' did not work.

I think you have the right baptism for John. To the side you see a note that he got 'attest' from Sparbu in 1877. I went to Sparbu (Mære sogn) and see he and Line married there 1 week after he got the attest (proof of birth). At the marriage it says he is son of Peder Jørgensen Bunesplass (same as Bunesvald).Put the lenke for death up again, and I'll have a look.

No, he is born 1876 and is Johan and born at a different farm. I'll send a question out to someone I know there.

John Pedersen Hofstad died 07/06-1934 in Verdal (see picture of the death notice below). John was married twice, the last time 22/02-1911 with his maid Marie Johannesd. Sigerseth from Bolsøy in Møre. She was born 17/05-1869 and died 03/10-1957. She is buried in Rauma, Møre.Link: Lenke
