hii need some help from somebody as i cant find information on a marriage nils august hansen born 18 september 1841 in farsund vest agder died 27 dec 1903 in grimstad aust agder and elise marie olsdatter born 20 may 1838 in fjaere grimstad aust agder i believe nils hansen would have moved to grimstad and married her in grimstad their first child was born 6 may 1864 in fjaere his name was niels emanuel so im thinking they were married between 1860 and 1864 i have all the information on the children but this is the only things i am stumped on as there is no archive for this area around 1860 for marriages i cant find any records of their marriage i was told that the records was destroyed in a fire also elise marie death i cant find i hope somebody can help maybe somebody who has a bygdabok for this area or might know where else to look thank youole vidar

From the information you give, the marriage must have taken place in a period where the marriage records from the parish have been lost in a fire.Per

hi peryes i think so but i was hoping that someone might have some information from that area in that period that i may not have maybe somebody who has marriage records from that period that i may not be able to view via web maybe someone with inforamation gathered from the local library ole vidar
