Thanks Tybring.I descend direct from Soffren and his wife, and direct from their son Anders and their daughter Mette too, and forward to this time. Soffren and Wife was my 9 th. great Grandfather, and two af their children also 8 th. great Grandfather.

I am also descended from Anders Soffrensen. through his son Gjert and then through three of Gjert's children, Anders, Christen and Christence. I have pictures of all of these if of interest to you. What about you - how do you descend from Anders? I see you live near Kvinnherred, where I also had family many years ago.

Yes, it had been interested to se the pictures af them. I descended from Anders Soffrensen and his second wife Elen Hansdaughter Ørbech through their son Hans Andersson Ørbech, born 1675, and his daughter again Metta Kirstine Hansdaughter Ørbech, who was married to Jens Johanson Bremer in Marifjøra, Hafslo. Hans Anderssson and Gjert was also halfbrothers. I descended from Metta Soffrensdaughter too, and her husbond Bernt Berntson Nagel. This was my mothers relatives, she moved to Hordaland and married my father. Helsing Svein.

Interesting, is it not, how Anders and Soffren Lauritzen look very similar in their portraits. They certainly must be brothers. The only real difference is that Anders has grey hair. I concluded that Anders Soffrensen, our common ancstor is the little boy in post 23. Do you agree?

This is (post 35) Martha Nilsdaughter Trondvik, Høyum i Luster, born 1847. Mother of my great grandfather. She descended from Soffren Lauritzen, Anders Soffrensen and Metta Soffrensdaughter too.

Have not a sharper picture, photo was taken outside, in Rysjedal, Hyllestad i think. She lived to 1923.

Cecilia Andersdaughter Fuhr, born 1610, married farmer Endre Nilsson at Mørkrid, Luster (1602 - 1675) Metta Andersdaughter Fuhr (1600 - 1650) first married to Farmer Henrik Henrikson Nitter på Tandle, Luster (1580 -1629). Second married to Peder Paasche, Tandle (1575-1650) Cecilia was number 6, and Metta number 3 of the children.

The name of the youngest girl at the epitaphium is unknown, she dead young. This is from : 'Gards og Ættesoge', Dale 1 sokn, Luster 1986, Lars Øyane.
