Innlegg 78694. Tusen takk til Hanne Line, Ann-Mary og Margaret. Etterkommere av Alfred er funnet og kontakt med slekt på Sømna er etablert !!!Har fått obituary for Alfred fra 1932. Der nevnes hans bror Indor - som bodde på Sømna, samt en bror som skal holde til i Deer Creek MN.Det må være Hans Olai Kristian Bertilsen f. 30/12-1861. Han kalles Bertel i obituary og kalte seg etter det en vet Bertelson i Amerika. Han ble gift på Sømna i 1887 med Marie Olea Olsdtr. f. 20/12-1866. De fikk barna Henriette Amanda f. 5/10-1887 and Hilmar Marinus Jentoft f. 12/4-1893.Hans reiste til Amerika i 1893, og i 1902 kom Marie og barna etter. De var i 1902 i Henning MN - samme sted som Alfred.Kan noen hjelpe med den videre skjebne for de fire i familien ?? Når døde Hans og Marie ?? Hvordan gikk det med barna ??

Det ser ut til at disse er i Inman, Otter Tail Co. MN i 1910. Henriette er ikke der, kanskje gift allerede med et annet etternavn. Hans Bertelson 49 Mary Betelson 42 Helmer Bertelson 17 ( må være Hilmar Marius) Mannus Bertelson 6 f. i Minnesota (feilskrift for Magnus?)

Norma Greenweller, gift Dauer? Heyer, Judith(nee Dauer) Appleton. A loving wife, mom, and grandma, passed away peacefully at her home on Wednesday, May 20, 1998 following a brief struggle with cancer at the age of 53. Judy was born in Milwaukee on May 2, 1945, daughter of Eltinge 'Al' Dauer of Appleton and the late Norma (Greenweller) Dauer. On July 30, 1966, she married Paul E. Heyer at Mt. Lebanon Ev. Lutheran Church in Milwaukee; he survives. In her earlier years, Judy was employed at Blue Cross in Milwaukee and most recently at Prange-Way in Appleton. She will be remembered by all who knew her as a child of God, a member of Bethany Ev. Lutheran Church, a 'mom' to many, teacher, friend, singer, music lover, counselor, psychologist, arbitrator, comforter, nurse, photographer, world traveler, chauffeur, interior decorator, inventory control expert, procurement expert, bookkeeper, project coordinator and entertainment guide. Survivors include her husband: Paul E. Heyer of Appleton; two daughters: Jennifer (Pavel) Krikava of Dillon, Colorado and Jill Heyer and her special friend Todd Arft of Appleton; a special grandson: Tyler; a brother-in-law Bill (Cathy) Sullivan of Milwaukee; two nephews: Tom (Laura) Sullivan and family of Carrollton, Virginia and Todd (Ann) Sullivan and family of Aurora, Illinois; two sisters-in-law: Norma Fogle of Milwaukee and Marguerite Ward of Madison; her mother-in-law: Charlotte Heyer of Milwaukee; and a special cousin: Kathy (Paul) Rempe of Waukesha. Judy is further survived by other relatives and many friends. She was preceded in death by her mother Norma Dauer, and by two sisters, Barbara Dauer and Donna Sullivan. Funeral Services for Judy will be held at 7:00 P.M. on Friday, May 22, 1998 at BETHANY EV. LUTHERAN CHURCH, 530 West Parkway Blvd. in Appleton with Rev. D. Craig Weber officiating. Interment will be in Riverside Cemetery. Friends may call Friday, directly at the church from 4:00 P.M. until the hour of services. In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been established for the Stained Glass Window Project at Bethany Ev.
