Hi Everyone, I think I've found it.Guro/Gurina/Rena WAS married to Hans P Hanson (I might be looking for your help soon when it comes to him!). She was born out of wedlock to Guri Pauldotter and Ole Paulson Enderud. 'Stalland' (actually Staaland) was the name of the man whom Guri later married, and who raised Guro/Gurina/Rena until he died in 1898.Paul Reierson in (31) is Guro/Rena's grandfather (via Paul's daughter, Guri). Guro/Rena's father was Ole Paulson Enderud (Guri's 2nd cousin).Amazing, thank you all so much for all your help on this, it has been tremendously helpful!

Torbjørn, I finally broke down and subscribed to Ancestry. From there I discovered a private tree that had Gurina, sent a message to the tree's owner, and received a quick response.He's descended from Guro/Rena's half brother, Reier Paulson.My next task will be to tackle Hans. Then I have some Czech and Slovenian ancestors of my wife's to track down... I hope there is an equivalent group of enthusiastic Eastern European researchers... I've never met such a generous and adroit community on the Internet as this one. Thanks again!
