Carsten Baltazar Duus birth

Page 173 of the 1861-1875 of the Telemark, Kragerø church records has the birth record of Carsten. In the column for birth date it notes 28.9.(1872) while the christening date is left blank. When I scroll over to the remarks column it notes he was born on 2.3.(1872) and baptized at home. I am not sure what to make of this and I would like someone to take a look at this and give me their opinion. I am inclined to use 2.3.1872 as the birth date and 28.9.1872 as the christening date although I am open to any suggestion that may be offered. http://forum.arkivverket.no/public/style_emoticons/default/dry.gif

Born at Sept.28 1871. Baptized at home,but died at March 2. 1972, before the baptizing was confirmed in church.
