Interpretation of Best Man Statement of 1721

Torris is going to marry Mali Eriksdtr.

May 1 (1721) widower Torris Dahl asked the minister for a bethrothal ceremony on the fourth Sunday after Easter to Mali Erichsdatter Fordalsbroen, and Isak Sætrum and Thron Knotten stated with their signets that there were no legal obstacals to this.

 

They were married on the 19th Sunday after Trinity 1721 at Heigre.
