What is the father's farm name?

What does the Introduction refer to?

Where do I find it?

Rudlangs-Eje. This means he was a smallholder or cotter at the farm Rundlang. He didn't own the farm he was working at.

The introduction of the mother was held 29 Oct. "L.nr" refers to a numbered list, presumably of introduced mothers.

I don't know where to find that in this church record. I usually find little useful information there.

I really recommend the website http://www.norgeibilder.no/, if it is available thru your IP provider.

 

There's a query field in Norwegian. 'Fylke' means county (here Op(p)land) , and 'kommune' is the municipality (here Nord-Aurdal). You can fill out the start of the farm name (at least 3 or 4 letters, if I recall correctly) in the field 'stedsnavn'. If you enter 'rudlang' and click on 'søk' (search), you will find the main farm. The cotter's farm is not shown, though. (Rudlangs-Eje = "owned by Rudlang").
