Jeg søker etter "endeligtet" til frøken Alma Lea f. 1881. Hun var med blant "de frie venner" og tok seg særskilt av emissæren Hans Nævland f 1840 fra Eigersund som døde i Oslo i 1920. Her er spor:

Ja, dette var raskt levert, jeg fant henne ved å søke i nb.no, faren dør 1922, moren 1928 uten barnebarn, selv er hun gift rundt august 1936 med Elias Bjerke i Minnesota. Så da har vi også hennes dødsfall 1965.

Hi, Excuse my having to use English. Alma was my father's cousin. My father's mother was Anna Bridget Nilsen (I am not sure what her surname was officially in Norway). Anna was the sister of Alma's mother, Kristina Katharina Nilsen. Thank you for posting this site. I had had much difficulty in finding Alma and did not realize that she had lived in Echo, Minnesota. A couple of years ago, I wrote a whole lot for a local historic magazine about the "prophet" Hans Nævland, Alma's close religious friend in Norway. Are you interested? I would like to send you a copy, but it is written in Norwegian.

 

Besides: I miss a photo of Alma. Do you maybe have any? Could I have a copy? That would be of greatest interest!

Hei, jeg husker tante Alma fra min barndom i 50-60 årene. Hun bodde i Usa og var gift med onkel Carl som hun traff som eldre.. Hun var venninne med min mormor, og besøkte jevnlig min mor når hun var på besøk i Norge. Jeg husker vi møtte dem på Amerikabåten.. Hun var søt og morsom, litt rund, hadde med tyggegummi og andre smågaver.
