Johannes Gasmann, Dorthea Gasmann

I am trying to find who I believe to be my great grandparents, Johannes and Dorthea Gasmann. My grandmother would be their daughter, Aagot Christine Gasmann. Aagot was born on Sep 13, 1863 in Akerhus. She married Merwin (I don't know the first name) either in Norway or in the U.S. Any help would be appreciated.

You'll find Johannes Gasman, wife Dortea Arnesdatter and daughter Aagot Karoline Gasman at Nedre Ammerud, Aker parish, in the 1865 census. Johannes was a miller.

Thank you for your help. I am just learning my way around this site and will pursue the information in the church archives.

By searching the 1875 census, I found that my grandmother, Aagot Karoline Gasman, had 3 brothers and a sister, Hakon born 1866, Kristian born 1868, Olaf born 1875, and Kathrine born 1872. Hakon was born in Vestre Aker and the other 3 in Kristiania. I did not find them in the 1900 census. I would like to find their descendents to locate any living relatives I might have. If anyone recognizes these people, I would appreciate any help.
