I am asking a Question about Eidsberg Parish in Ostfold, Norway. The Records go back to 1710. What Parish would the Eidsberg Residents have been in the 1600's?

The Records go back to 1710, - not further back. So it is for allmost all the Parrishes i the Østfold area. Eidsberg Parish was established as a result uf the reformation (In the middle of 1500).

Wrong, you will find Eidsberg probate records in Heggen og Frøland sorenskriveri until 1847. The oldest from 1667.

There are lost mutch old documents from Østfold area because of two cases of fire in the arkives of Smaalenes amt (Østfold fylke) in the 1800's.

2. Bent Taraldsen Oyerud 1651 - mar 12, 1741 at Oyerud.

3. Rolv Bentsen Sopler ? - after October 1756 when sold Interest to son.

Brothers may be Tarald, Lars, Jon and Morten.

4. Iver Rolvsen Sopler Feb 2 1732 - after 1768.

5. Gulbrand Iversen Sopler July 20 1760 - Feb 21 1808 at Lutomt. Married to Mari Tonesdatter Glomsrud. 1765 - after May 31 1821 at Svennbye. Daugther of a Tonnes Olsen Glomrsud about 1730 - about July 11 1813 at Tillesoir. Married Marthe Jacobsdatter Krosbye.

6. Iver Gulbrandsen Dyngen Dec 23 1798 - May 25 1855 at Groterud. Married Anne Maria Andersdatter Trippestad.

7. Andreas Iversen September 16 1827 - Feb 22 1876 at Grav, Os, Rakkestad. Married to Marthe Larsdatter Dahl.

 

Maybe these names will be in the Bygebok listed. Especially Interested in the first four Generations listed and also Information on Tonnes Olsen listed on this page.

I went to the library today. Found nothing in Eidsberg gårds- og slektshistorie. Maybe the 5 books only have farms from the main part of Eidsberg and not the annex Trømborg. I belive both Øyerud and Søpler are in Trømborg.
