Todd Mason Skrevet Juni 1, 2013 Del Skrevet Juni 1, 2013 Hi, I am a Norwegian American using the archives via translate.google.com. My apologies for writing in English. I found Augustinus Hansen age 25 in the 1875 census on the farm Lillesveen in Elverum parish. In the 1886 farm survey he is listed as the owner of 167-9, title number 344j, which he called Skov i Storbergshallen. My kin emigrated in 1866, leaving a farm with a title number of 344a (167-1 in the 1886 survey), which they called Storbergshalden. Both are listed in church records as residents of Storberget. All of this suggests that the modern-day Svea Lille I am looking for is the one east of Elverum. Trouble is, Norgeskart says Bnr 167 is the Svea Lille north of Elverum. Some of the farm names are duplicated as well.If the map is wrong is another source to determine which farms are 344a and 344j? Lenke til kommentar Del på andre sider
Gjest Kristian - Digitalarkivet Skrevet Juni 26, 2013 Del Skrevet Juni 26, 2013 When searching for gnr 167 bnr 1 in Elverum, either on norgeskart.no or the similar service www.seeiendom.no , I can see Sveen lille east of Elverum, close to Storberget and Storbergshallen. Translated to google maps it should be here: https://maps.google.com/maps?q=livegen+43,+Elverum,+Norway&hl=en&ll=60.935728,11.789875&spn=0.02385,0.084543&sll=60.93185,11.794167&sspn=0.011926,0.042272&hnear=Livegen,+2412,+Elverum,+Hedmark,+Norway&t=m&z=14 Lenke til kommentar Del på andre sider
