Arthur David Smith 1928 - 2011. Han var sønn av Arthur Cornelius og Rosie Smith. Jeg ønsker å vite hvem han var gift med. Mulig at hun het Elisabeth.

 

Han hadde mange barn: Rose Marie (Hoffman), Rose Ann, Kathleen Jo (Miller), Arthur David, Lawrence og Christine Lynn (Fuller). Jeg vet ikke når noen av disse er født og evt døde så det vil jeg gjerne vite. Det hadde også vært flott å finne etterkommere etter disse barna.

Arthur D Smith, 82, of Foxboro died Saturday, April 2, 2011, at St Luke's Hospice in Duluth after a short illness. Athur was born in Superior on Nov 23, 1928, the son of Rosie (Winter) and Arthur C Smith. He served his country enlisting in the Navy.

Arthur lived life's adventures to the fullest. He began working as a landscaper, he worked in logging, started his trucking career hauling to Alaska, where he also worked various jobs on the pipeline. He resumed his trucking career owning and operating his own trucks until his retirement when he started A&D Seafood selling meat and fish. Arthur enjoyed flying, riding Harley's and snowmobiling. People knew him not just for his big size but also his big heart and ready humor. He will be missed by many.

He was preceded in death by his parents; a grandson, Christopher Smith; and Elizabeth "Betty" Smith.

Arthur is survived by his children, Rose Marie Hoffman of CA, Rose Ann Smith of Austin, MN, Kathleen Jo Ann Miller of Superior, Arthur David (Patty) Jr of St Cloud, MN, Lawrence Hjelmere (Marie) of Superior and Christine Lynn (Michael) Fuller of Sarasota, FL; and many grandcildren and great-grandchildren.

Interment will be in Summit Cemetery.
