A Celebration of Life service for Lula "Betty" Hahn, 84, of Shallowater will be 2 p.m. Thursday, October 30, at First Baptist Church of Shallowater. A committal service will be at 11:30 a.m. in Resthaven Mausoleum Chapel.

Mrs. Hahn went to be with the Lord on Monday, October 27.

She was born on Nov. 7, 1923, in Valley Falls, Kan. While working in Kansas, as a bus ticket agent, she met a bus driver, Donald Hahn, who became the love of her life. They married Aug. 8, 1947. Donald preceded her in death in May of 1993.

Betty worked as a small appliance repair technician for Sears. She enjoyed the love and companionship of four Boston Terriers over the years, all being named "Butch". She had been an active member of First Baptist Church in Shallowater where she had been a "Greeter", member of the Glory Singers, and served on the Kitchen Committee.

She was preceded in death by three older brothers.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday, from 7-8:30 p.m.
