Charles "Wayne" Hundley, Sr. age 73, of Manassas, Virginia died Tuesday, June 29, 2004 at Hospice of Northern Virginia, Arlington, Virginia.

Mr. Hundley was a member of Local # 77 Heavy Equipment Operators, Washington, D.C.

He is survived by his children, Charles Wayne Hundley, Jr. and his wife, Joyce, of Falls City, Nebraska, Kimberly Wayne Graveno and her husband Duane of Nottingham, PA, and Wanda Pugh of Manassas, Virginia; two Sisters, Shirley Aits of Manassas, Virginia and Nancy Brock of Scott Depot, West Virginia and three brothers, Bruce Hundley of West Grove, PA, John Hundley of Manassas and Alan Cornwell of Warrenton, Virginia. Also surviving are ten grandchildren and two great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends Thursday, July 1, 2004 from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. at Price Funeral Home, 9609 Center Street Manassas, where funeral services will be held on Friday, July 2, 2004 at 12 Noon with Pastor Eugene Zorbas officiating. Interment will follow at Quantico National Cemetery, Triangle, Virginia with military honors.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Capital Hospice P.O. Box 1576 Merrifield, VA 22116-1576 in memory of Wayne Hundley, Sr.

Raymond C. Rieck, age 79 of Lynn Haven, died Sunday, May 7, 2000, at a local
nursing facility. Mr. Rieck was a native of Pennsylvania, and had lived here
28 years. He was a retired pipefitter with Atlantic-Richfield and was of the
Baptist faith. He lived at Cove Manor for two years before going into a
nursing home, and enjoyed walking and working crossword puzzles. Survivors
include two sisters, Alice Cross of Lynn Haven and Dorothy Cornwell of
Manassas, Va.; several nieces and nephews including Judy Salyer of Lynn Haven
and Jennifer Martin and her husband John of Panama City. Funeral services will
be held at 2 p.m. Friday, May 12, at Kent-Forest Lawn Chapel. Burial will
follow at Garden of Memories. The family will receive friends at the funeral
home Thursday, May 11, 2000, from 6 to 8 p.m.

Shirley Elaine Hundley Aits, age 81, of Manassas, VA passed away Friday, March 18, 2016 at her residence.

She was born on February 10, 1935 in Chester PA, the daughter of the late John C. and Dorothy E. Hundley. She was preceded in death by her husband, Raymond Howard Aits, and a grandson, Calvin Aits. 

Survivors include her children, Sandra Abbott, Barry Aits, Gail Cox, Robin Anderson, Penny Aits, Rick Aits; brothers, John Hundley, Leroy Hundley, Allan Cornwell; sisters, Nancy Brock; 8 grandchildren, Brooke Carder, Amanda Knedle, Austin Aits, Heather Aits, Tyler Abbott, Jessie Aits, Wyatt Aits, Lauren Wheeler; 8 great grandchildren, Kayla Saffer, Zoe Carder, Shane Carder, Luke Knedle, Athena Knedle, Danyel Knedle, Daniel Knedle, Jr., Jordan Aits

Då veit me i alle fall at John C. Hundley var snikkar i 1930 og at han då budde i Washington, DC!  Han må vera flytt til Chester, PA kort tid etter og budde nok der til bortimot dødsfallet sitt i 1940...

He served his country in the United States Air Force and retired from Columbia Gas as a pipe line worker. Danny loved his music and was well known throughout the area as a talented harmonica player and was a member of the Appalachian Rounders band. He was also an avid outdoorsman and enjoyed hunting and fishing.
