1871 Captain M. Lund from Bergen Apr. 22 to Quebec June 11 Passenger list: Passenger list

The information listed above is not the complete record of the ship. The information was collected from a multitude of sources, and new information will be added as it emerges

In 1871 the ship Sarah departed from Bergen on April 22nd, and arrived at Quebec on June 10th. She was sailing in ballast, and was carrying 13 cabin and 187 steerage passengers. There was one death on the voyage, it was the 6 month old infant, a twin, child of Svend Svendsen age 30 and his wife Wilhelmmine age 24. When the ship arrived at the quarantine station on Grosse Île, two of the passengers were sick with fever. The ship was contained in quarantine from June 7th to June 10th. The Sarah was mastered by Capt. M. Lund, and had a crew of 15.
