Jack (Charles John) Ming, was a fire warden during the war (WW2) and in the reserve police force. Peter believed that Jack had spent seven years in India around 1920’s. (1927/8). Later, after the war Jack worked moving furniture and then progressed to being a security doorman at the Albert Hall, meeting many famous people. After Emmy died Jack met Olga, and married again. We believe there were some in the family (not us) who were not so happy about his second marriage. It was pleasing to see that Jack and Olga featured in holiday photographs with Betty and Peter until Jack died.
