De skal ha emigrert fra Kristiania til NY i USA i 1910. Men jeg finner dem ikke på emigrerte lister fra Kristiania. Hvor ble de av?

 

I Namsos bor søsteren Davida Fredrikke Ødegaard f  28 jul 1878 i Brønnøy. Gift og bosatt i Namsos med skipper Johannes Normann Nilsen f 22 jul 1875.

De får 8 barn. Davida dør i spanskesyken 1918. Noen år seinere kommer 3 av hennes barn til å emigrere til New York

Dagny Hjørdis Nilsen f 23 jan 1904, hun emigrerer til NY over Trondheim 1923

Janna Arnolda Nilsen f 26 nov 1901, hun emigrerer til NY over Trondheim i 1925

Seinere kommer også broren Valdemar Nilsen f 10 feb 1906 til NY etter å ha vært med i Andre Verdenskrig.

She was a teacher for the New York City Board of Education. Beloved wife of the late George (d. 2008), Cherished mother of Douglas, Robert (wife Wendy) and Elsie Orfei, devoted grandmother of William Orfei, and sister to the late Lawrence Odegaard.
