Halvor er oppført å være 32 år gammel, altså født rundt 1826. Videre står det at han er fra Våler.

 

Finner forøvrig en Halvor Thorstensen i Hof i FT1865, han er oppført å være født i Hof prestegjeld, som Våler på den tiden var underlagt. Her er han forøvrig med "en annen" kone.

 

Kan dette være den samme Halvor som har blitt enkemann mellom 1858 og 1865 og giftet seg på nytt. Og hva har skjedd med Oline?

Takk Ann-Mary og Grethe. Jeg lurer på om det her handler om to ulike Halvor Torstensen. Det virker litt merkelig at Halvor gifter seg med Oline i 1859, etter å ha fått barn med henne i 1856. For deretter å gifte seg med Hanna Olsdatter i 1860. Men på den annen side stemmer jo alt med vielsen, patronymikon og farens patronymikon for begge Halvorer.

 

Jeg har forsøkt å lete etter Oline blant døde i Elverum perioden 1859 - 1860, uten hell. Kan hun allerede ha flyttet ut av Elverum? Finner heller ingen Elisine, hverken i FT1865, 1900 eller 1910 født i Elverum.

OK, da er det altså to ulike Halvor Torstensen jeg har rotet meg borti. Ser jo at den enes far heter Torsten Hansen og "min" Halvors far heter Torsten Halvorsen. Takk for referanse til skifekortene Grethe.

 

Etterkommerne til Peder Olsen og Berthe Olsdatter har jeg relativt god oversikt over, bortsett fra to av barn nemlig denne Oline Pedersdatter og søsteren Berte Pedersdatter.

 

Jeg finner hverken Halvor, Oline eller Elisine ved søk på DA etter 1865. Vet dere hvor jeg kan søke på evt. emigrasjon før dette?
