Prøver å finne ut hvor min tipp tippoldefars søster tok veien etter at hun utvandret til Amerika i 1852, har søkt en del på familysearch, men finner lite....

Det jeg vet om Margrethe:

Født i 1812

Foreldre Jon Nilsen  og Mari Henriksdatter

Margrethe var eldst av tre barn som nådde voksen alder (Jon og Mari mistet også 3barn)

Mari gifter seg i 1838 med Peder Andersen fra Moe i Hole (født1811)

De får en sønn Johan Andreas i 1839 og flytter til Aker samme år

Utfra Kirkeboka for Aker får de ytterligere fire Barn, Jonas Anton født 1840, Anne Sophie født 1843, Marie født 1845 og Marthine født 1847.

I 1852 finner jeg under utflyttede fra Aker: Peder Anders 41år, Margrete Jonsdatter 40år, Jonas Anton og Anne Sophie er de eneste barna som er nevnt.

Jeg antar dette er min tipptippoldefars søster og ektemann da alder stemmer, og at de 3øvrige barna er døde.

Etter dette har jeg store vanskeligheter med å finne igjen den lille familien......

Noen som har noen tips som kan hjelpe??

Det stemmer godt med han som var født i Aker!Navnet på foreldrene står som "Peter and Margrette Anderson,of Christiania,Norway".

De kom til Detroit,Michigan i juli 1852.

Jonas kom til Chicago,Illinois  i 1857.

Mora døde i Detroit i 1853,og faren i Chicago i 1889.

Søsteren Anne Sophie er ikke nevnt.

Tusen takk dette var mye info. Tenkte aldri på å søke etter barna med fars etternavn. Fant boka du linker til. Jonas Anton  var nok en driftig fyr. Han bygde verdens største kamera i 1900

Ved død står hun med fødselsdato 21 Mar 1868,men i boka jeg lenket til i innlegg 5 står det at hun var født 21 mars 1865.
