Tyding av Amerikabrev fra El Paso

Hei. Jeg har et Amerikabrev skrevet på engelsk. Jeg klarer å tyde bruddstykker av det og det tar tid da jeg må tyde/gjette og sette i kontekst. Det er mye å be om, men om noen kunne hjulpet meg med tydingen hadde jeg og min bestefar (brevet er fra hans gammeltante/onkel) blitt veldig glad.

My interpretation, may have errors in it:

 

First page:

 

"El Paso July 31st. Dear Ida [?] + John and all.

I'm sorry I'm so late in writing. I hope I wrote you since you got home from the hospital. How are you Ida these days I hope all is well with you now and the [. . .] is O.K. John must be a good housekeeper. I fell the 5th of May and checked [?] my hip so have been in the hospital and now am in a home until I can walk. I had X rays taken again last week and the hip is doing well. I [. . .] walk more than I do and maybe soon I'll be on my own. Both Saturday and Sunday my daughter picked me up and take [sic, took] me home with her. The home is only three miles from her home and it seems all I do here is eat + sleep, time goes so fast. When I was in the hospital Bill came down and was there a week. Ruth was here almost a month visiting me two times a"

"day, I knew for nothing, was doped up so often until just before the 4th of July. Nw I am hearing what happened while I was out of this world. Some experience believe me. I saw the base doctor last Wednesday and he said I could walk now, the hip looks fine. I must see him again the 21st next month. I hope you can read my writing. The [. . . ] family what's left of them is having a family reunion the 21st [. . . ]. I might get there. Ruth [?] has been home painting the kitchen and woodwork. Today she goes to South Carolina to spend a few weeks with her girld firend. School will begin soon after she comes back. All the Bill Bensons are OK now. Pearl had the misfortune to break her shoulder and this [?] has healed so she can do as she did before. Bill does much of the house work that gives him some thing to keep him busy. He all keep [. . . . - last line cut off]."

Third page:

 

"Amy and Bob spent 10 days in Wisconsin the 1st week in July. Bob attended celebrated the high school graduation class [. . . ]. They spent 2 days in the town (Miller) and the rest in Drummond. They had a very nice time. I wish I could have been there also. I have my 75th birthday Thurs. I never dreamed I'd reach that age but it took a very long time to reach that age. El Paso has gotten so much rain in July. [. . . . - I cannot make out this sentence]. David and Jenna [?] spent a week's vacation camping, the 1st real camping trip they have had in years. Jenna will have a baby after the 1st of the year, their 1st one and she [is] so happy. She will teach school as long as she can. Richard will begin school this term."

Fourth page:

 

" I began this letter yesterday and have finished it this morning and I hope I haven't repeated myself. Today is the 1st of August. I'll be going back to the home early this afternoon so Inez can get some rest before she goes back to work tomorrow. I hope you are getting [. . . ] and you'll continue in good health. Greet the [. . . ] . Love Ida [?] and the [. . . ] (Inez + Bob)"

Thank you! I will try to figure out the words missing. The line missing was lost with the scanning of the letter.
