No, it was all recorded in the (church) parish records (books) (birth, marriage, death etc). Deaths you might also find in in the probate records (as shown in post # 51 for Ole Arnesen Hage). Doesn’t Norway at least give dignity to those who suffered from mental illness a name of burial location at the very least? what happened to the rest of the family ????
