Where is Møllosyn i Tjøtta?

I have several ancestors from Tjotta who are referenced in www.roysoftings.com.  For example- Peder (Per) Clausen was born in Tjotta in 1645 and died sometime after 1701.   www.roysofting.com says he died in  "Møllosyn i Tjøtta".   I search the map (Norgeskart) but can't find such a place and using Google translate as well as other online Norwegian dictionary's I can't find this word.  Can someone tell me what this means or where it is at?  Thanks.

Thanks for the link- I tried it and it doesn't seem to find a place that makes sense for someone who apparently lived on Tjotta island.  I have sent an email to www.roysoftings.com to see if they will help in where this place is or what it means.

I e-mailed the author (Roy Soefting) of the tree (Roys slekt) and he gave me this information-

''Møllosyn'' was the name of a little place where the rectory was, and the Peoples who lived there didn't own the land. The first settlers came there late 1600 and had to leave about 1886, and it was the same familiy that had lived there. The name Møllosyn ceased to be used about 1854."

 

Perhaps it will help someone else who runs across this.
