Can someone read this old norwegian text

Comes from a family from North Dakota. Originally from Leikanger, Sogn og Fjordane. Here is the family in 1865 just before they left in 1870.

Peder Ellingsen Palmer had a child in North Dakota in 1883. My confusion comes from the mother was not named Malene Berntsdatter to my knowledge

Peder is my great-great grandfather! Maline was his first wife who sadly passed away in childbirth followed by their newborn son 12 weeks later. He remarried a woman named Anna and had 3 children (the middle child was my great-grandmother). Unfortunately Anna passed away giving birth to their only son in 1889 at the age of 26. All 3 children were raised by relatives and survived well into their ‘80s. Peder never remarried and the rest of his story is unclear except that he passed in his mid-40s before 1901. Thank you for posting this, I would love to know if there’s any other information in the book. And thank you to the translators, that’s amazing!

Now I am trying to remember how I got involved in the translation. It does not belong to my family line, but might have come from some work I was doing on the site Norway Heritage.
