I was wondering whether there are any documents on exact numbers of radio listeners in the different Norwegian municipalities (kommune) during the years 1933-1950. I know that Telegrafverket has collected the kringkastingsavgift for these years and they have reported the number of listeners for each radio station. It is unfortunately not completely visible how the stations are connected to the smaller municipalities and how the radio listeners are distributed across these municipalities. I have attached a document I found at the SSB webpage with the number of listeners for the year 1933-1934. What I am looking for is more detailed information on which municipalities are connected to these stations. In the best case, I would like to find the number of radio listeners for each municipality in each of the years. I hope somebody is aware of documents that could help finding this information. Thanks for your reply, but the problem is rather that the document that SSB has digitised is an overview report. However there must have been more detailed notes on this aspect in order to create the overview report, that is why I thought that these types of documents might be available through Arkivverket. Do you know whether documents of Telegrafverket have been stored at your archives or where they could potentially be available?
