Per Hansen b. 1769 Halsaunet and Arnevik

So i am getting my information confused here between Halsaunet Farm in Åfjord og Jøssund Gårdshistorie Bind 2 (1801-1875) which mentions Per Hansen as being the son of the previous caretaker... this is where i get confused on which person is his father. (word documents attached that have screen shots of the original text along with my terrible translations haha).

 

In Åfjord og Jøssund Gårdshistorie Bind I (1500-1800) Halsaunet - I find Hans Arentsen again and a Hans Persen along with children listed... but i am not sure who the children belong to Hans Persen or Hans Arentsen.

 

Then i went to Arvevik / Arvevik / Arnevika farm in Åfjord og Jøssund Gårdshistorie Bind I (1500-1800) and under Grete Nielsdatter it has Per Hansen listed as her husband and then lists his parents are Hans Persen and Beret Hansdatter...

 

Just looking to see if someone could corroborate or help confirm who Per Hansen's parents are.

Updated with some new info. Seems like I have a couple sources that seem to point to one father and mother and then another to the other set of parents... any help is appreciated.

I see your point, the wife of Hans Arentsen is not consistent (Beret Hansdatter vs. Marit Persdatter).

 

If we are to believe the birth record Marit Persdatter (Pedersdatter) is the correct wife:

Alright so you think Per Hansen born 1769 father is Hans Arentsen and mother is Marit Persdatter.

 

 

I should have made that connection that you highlighted at the bottom of this page. It is tough as I do not speak Norwegian and have to use google translate for everything and typing all these names gets confusing haha.... it really does seem like every family names their kids the same set of names, over and over through each generation.

 

Is it common for a person to be called Persdatter and Pedersdatter? or are those two completely seperate names?

Is there a central location where all the farm books have been scanned and uploaded? I physically own a copy of Åfjord og Jøssun Gårdshistori Bind I 1500-1800... this is what I am pulling a lot of my families ancestry from.. but i have found a few farm names mentioned that are not in the book i have.

 

Having a hard time tracking down which farm books have which farms in it as well.
