"Graveside rites were held Saturday noon at the Greenwood Cemetery for a former area woman, Mrs. John (Julia) Wisth, 99, of Milwaukee, who died November 20 at the Hillcrest Nursing Home, Wauwatosa. Funeral services were held Friday morning from the Prasser-Kleczka Funeral Home in Milwaukee. The Rev. Larry Bremer, Milwaukee, was the officiating clergyman.

Mrs. Wisth, the former Julia Ystad, was born August 15, 1875, in Norway. The Wisths were married there and came to Greenwood in 1903 and settled on a farm northeast of the city. In 1926 they moved to Milwaukee, where she resided ever since. Mr. Wisth preceded his wife in death in 1964.

Surviving, are three sons: Hjolmer, Fred, and Thorwald Wisth, and two daughters: Mrs. Ed (Borghild) Detemple and Mrs. Carl (Hildur) Kueling, all of the Milwaukee area; and 10 grandchildren and several great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.

John Peter Henriksen Vist. (Han var yngst av 5 barn) Han ble gift 26. april 1899 i Domkirken i Trondheim med Julie Petrine Stenstad født 1875 i Inderøy. Hennes far John Stenstad. Han er murstenshåndlanger i 1902.

1.       Hjalmar født 26. mars 1899 i Bakke, Trondheim. Hjalmar døde 26 november 1980 i Milwaukee, gift med Augusta født 1902. De hadde sønnen Arthur født 1921 i 1930. 

2.       Osvald født 17. november 1901 i Bakke, Trondheim.

3.       Frithjof (Fred) Wisth født 14. februar 1905 i Wisconsin. Han døde januar 1976 i Clarke county WI. Gift med Irene Barbara født 24 februar i 1908 hun døde 3 november 1989 i Menomonee Falls WI.

4.       Arthur Wisth født 8. desember 1907 i WI. Han døde 11. juni 1974 i Milwaukee WI.

5.       Borghild født 1911 i WI. Ugift enda i 1940.

6.       Thorvald født i 1916 i WI.

7.       Hildur født 1919 i WI. Ugift enda i 1940.

 

John Peter reiste til Amerika i 1903. Konen og de to barna fulgte etter senere i 1903. De reiste til Greenwood i Wisconsin. John Wisth døde i Milwaukee 30. desember 1962. Julie døde 20. november 1974 også i Milwaukee.
