Sorry. Trude and I had a ‹chat› – in norwegian. Short: She found the entry, made the link functional, and she even found an already made transcription. So I gave her a verbal ‹high five› stating that it would have cost me a great effort (and a lot of time) to read the original. So – great work!  Then I  made a comment concerning an ongoing and controversional transcription program here in Norway: A lot of the old records are currently transcribed – in India. Sadly resulting in some funny, incomprehensible and horrendous mistakes. (Be it names, places – You name it.) Well –  In the light of that, I told Trude I was relieved to see that this transcription (due to its correctness) seems to have come from not too far away. Kind of a bad joke. 😉

That is why I like to work with the original material. I slowly am learning to read the original Norske script but there always are words I cannot read or do not understand. I I greatly appreciate these forums. I have been able to make so many interesting and important discoveries because of the help I get from the individuals who respond to my queries.

That is – after clicking as described, just place the marker where you want the link to appear, and press Ctrl+v or command+v, depending on wether you are using a PC or a Mac. And, Voilà!
