Gård i Vaksdal Bygdebok

I am trying to find where the farms Børsli and Blødal, as listed in the second volume of the Vaksdal bygdebok were located. They don't seem to be on maps anymore. Can someone show me where on Norgeskart.no they would be?

They are not shown on the norgeskar.no but I may have located the Storavatnet and Midtvatnet.

Here you can see the name Mjelde skipreider Allmenning and Midtvatnet. 

You can see the name Blomdalsvegen on the map below.

My guess without having local knowledge is that the farms most likely is located within or close to the red circle that I draw on the map.

Thank you. So apparently these farms don't exist any more. But at least this gives a pretty narrow area for where they were.

An old map from 1919 shows the names Blomdal and Blødalen. Børsli is a neighbour farm to those.

Blødalen, maybe written Blaudalen today. The marker shoul be placed between Blomdalen and Blaudalen on the Norgeskart.

Thank you again. I had checked a map from Karkverket from about 1865 but couldn't find them. The links you posted work just fine.

I believe the Blomdal farm exists today. Go to maps.google.com and write: 60.554473388744874, 5.650826812065303. This will give you the exact location. By Blomdalsvatnet (Lake Blomdal).

Thank you for your reply. Yes, Blomdal is still on the map. It was the other two, Børsli and Blødal that were being the problem but Oddgeir was able to point to where they used to be.

My mistake. I have a map where Blødalen is called Blaudalen - but you are right, there do not seem to be any buildings there.
