The modern day spelling of Efyen is Evjen

 

The corner is ripped, so H.. could in principle be any name starting with H

Hermund and Halsten are examples of names associated with Evjen in other sources

Here, I think Even is right. 

Both Espa ("Espen") and Evjen ("Efyen", "Efien") are farm names in Orkdalen (neighbouring farms, actually; Nos. 10 and 12 in the "matrikkel" 1886).

Compared to f and s e.g. in "Tølløfsen" in Line 6 from below, it seems clear that the Niels's farm name is with an s; "Espen".
