Creation of Transcribed Material

I didn't see any English language postings, so I hope it is acceptable to post in English. Otherwise, I will need to post Norwegian translations of my English using Google Translate.

 

I am looking for a description of how the transcribed material is created. Is there a webpage that describes this?  In looking at some of the transcribed material, it appears that it is not always complete which makes me believe that much of it is submitted by users who submit partial transcriptions based on the limited research they were conducting. Is there a process for users to submit transcribed information?
