Having some trouble finding my Great great great grandmother. My great grandmother was Gulbjour Strand’s paternal grandmother. Guilbjour’s father was Peder Olson. Looking for information about his mother.

Based on the information above it is very   unlikely that the father of Gulbjour was Peder Olson.

Interesting Anne-Lise. I was working late last night, about early morning for you and kept getting a "505 error Bad Gateway" message when I tried to use the Forum. Digitalarkivet website worked OK but the Forum was not useable.

Cody, if I understand your question correctly you are looking for the mother of Gulbjour's father. I do not think that the father of Gulbjour is Peder Olsen but rather is Ole Gudbrandsen. So we are looking for the parents of Ole Gudbrandsen. 

 

According to the marriage record posted by Anne-Lise, that should be Gudbrand Olsen.

 

That same record gives the father of Anne Johannsdatter as John Eriksen.

Anne Johannesdtr b. 14. May 1857 on Tokerudeiet. Parents are Johannes Eriksen and Oline/Olina Pedersdtr.

Ole may have been out on his own by the 1865 Census. There are three but two have the incorrect parents. Here is one living on his own at 11 years old.
