I just found out that an individual by the name of B. Riisnes from Norway has done some research on my uncle, Alfred Julius Voge. He apparently has his name as Alfred Julius Voge Sørvik. The addition of this last name indicates that B. Riisnes is researching my grandfather’s line — Anders Voge Sørvik who lived in Øksenvagen, Averøy, Norway. Is there some way I can contact B. Riisnes?

I got this information in an e-mail from My Heritage, a family research site which I do not use due to the many errors I had found in its data over the years.

 

However, I was able to trace B. Riisnes through FaceBook. It appears that his My Heritage dna was a match to a family member. He is looking for his biological father who is unknown. After some discussion, I directed him to this forum for help in his search. 

 

This is the end of my involvement with him for now.
