Name of Ship?

I have been trying for years to find out the name of the ship that Ole Martin Thorkildsen was on. It was the last ship prior to his death. He signed -on 8-11-61, and died December 16. Perhaps he died on that ship

 

Will you, please,  take a look to see if you know the name of the ship

Richard Johan Natvig -- Thank You! I would never have guessed Idun. Initially, I thought it was Idsen. Another mystery solved.

Hate to be a ‹party-pooper›, but although I agree in Idun, there are very few ‹candidates› – only one, actually – at least at Sjøhistorie.

That is Brigg Idun buildt 1854. But it belongs in Tvedestrand, and its Captain from 1854 to -63 is said to be a Pedersen. In the document it looks to me that the Skippers name is Johannesen? 

Hmm . . .

Here are four Idun candidates (including the two mentioned above), three of them built in 1854, one in 1858:

But in my experience, this register is not complete, I have found ships not included in the list, and also, the listings of captains are often incomplete, as well. 

 

PS. Even: I can not imagine you as a "party pooper"! 🙂
