Auction Deed help

I'm just starting to go through the property deeds and the handwriting and the words are a bit too difficult for me. The deed in question is at

The deed I'm looking at is to Halvor Paulsen on the right page at the top.

 

I believe that this is the deed where the current owner, Jacob Hansen lost the farm. But that's my guess.

your "belief" might be right.

 

Halvor Paulsen Kregnæs bought the estate from Simen Mikkelsen Kvaal, who got it at the auction.

Simen was also the mortgagee who requested the auction.

 

Strictly, however, it is not said (here) that Jacob Hansen owned the property.

It is specified that Jacob was the holder/user. He might own it himself, or rent it from someone else.

 

If you do not know this from other sources, you have to look up the "Realpanteregister"  (real estate registry) which

is an index to the "Pantebok" with one page for each holding.  This is Klepp (farm) in Melhus tinglag (local court district),

Matrikkel No. (Farm No.) 65, Løpenummer (Serial No.) 107e.
