Ole Olsen Husa (1842-1915) reiste med sin familie til Amerika i 1862. Der fikk han en datter, Ingeborg, ca. 1875. Familien slo seg ned i Kandiohi Co, Minnesota.  Ingeborg (1975-1899) giftet seg med en Ole Olsen og fikk to barn,  Emil og Carl. Så er mitt spørsmål: Hvor ble det av disse to guttene og fikk de noen barn?

"Ole Olsen Husa was born on 13 April 1842 in Eggedal Parish, Sigdal, Buskerud, Norway to Ole Steingrimsen Skålen (1802-1880) and Gunild Eriksdatter Frøvol (1804-1885). He was the youngest son of seven children in the family.

 

Ole reported in the 1900 and 1910 censuses that he arrived in Rushmore, Fillmore County, Minnesota in 1862. He met and married Anna Olsdatter Aasen who was born on 16 May, 1844 in Telemark, Norway. More information on Anna has not been determined at this writing.

 

Ole and Anna were married in 1864 and moved to Norway Lake in Monongalia County the next year. They settled in Section 30 of Colfax Township overlooking Norway and Games Lakes in what would soon be named Kandiyohi County. Here they lived out their lives and raised nine children:

 

1. Gunhild O. Husa (1861-1951) who married Christian Larson. They had eight children six of whom survived to adulthood and remained in the community. The Larsons are buried at Colfax Cemetery near where they lived.

 

2. Tona O. Husa (1868-1939) who married Ole C. Thorseth and lived in Swift County. They had eleven children.

 

3. Marie A. Husa ((1872-1951) who married Andrew Erick Rood and lived and farmed in Arctander Township, Kandiyohi County. They raised three children who remained in the community all of their lives. Marie is buried at East Norway Lake.

 

4. Ingeborg Husa (1875-1899) who married Ole B. Olson on 1 January, 1895 at East Norway Lake Lutheran. She died four years later.

 

5. Edward O. Husa (1878-1967) never married and farmed in Colfax Township. He is buried at the East Norway Lake Lutheran Cemetery.

 

6. Oline Husa (1879-1909) who, according to her father’s obituary, married a Thorsrud and died at age 30.

 

7. Gurine Husa (1882-1963) remained single and appears to have died in Benson, Minnesota in 1963.

 

8. Anna Otelia Husa (1885-1963) married Winfred Lawrence Aasen and lived most of her life in the St. Cloud, Minnesota area. They had three children. Anna and Winfred are buried at Oak Hill Cemetery in Sartell, Minnesota.

 

9. Oliver Ole Huse (1889-1946) married Elisa Inga Rood and farmed the home place in Colfax Township. They had four children. Two of their children, Orlyn and Carrol farmed the land once owned by Ole Husa. Oliver and Elisa are buried at East Norway Lake Lutheran Cemetery.

 

Anna Aasen Husa died 30 July, 1889, two weeks after giving birth to her son Oliver. Ole Olsen Husa lived until 16 February, 1915. They are buried in the East Norway Lake Lutheran Cemetery where they were charter members.".
