"m j" (in the registration) is short for "med jord" (in the original) = with land

 

On the next page (in the original) we can read that he had 1 cow, 1 calf, 10 sheeps and lambs, 4 goats and kids, 1 pig

and that he sowed 1/8 barrel barley and 1/4 barrel of oat, 2 barrels potatoes and used 9 square-<something> for other roots.

(this <something> seems to disappear into the binding of the protocol; it is not "maal" = 10000 sq ft = 985 m2; more likely 9 sq ft)
