Probably the marriage of Christian and Siri on May 2, 1867. They both live at a farm called Gjøvigeiet. Siri is originally from a farm called Furua, and Christian from Hvindeneiet. Hvindeneiet is a smallholding under the farm Hvinden (pronounced with a silent “h”). Siri’s father is Hans Ellingsen, and Christian’s father is Niels Knudsen:

The original, entry number 16:

Niels Knudsen and Siri Pedersdatter give birth to Christian on May 3, 1836, and he is baptized on May 12, 1836. The family then lives on a farm called Hougtvedteiet, so they probably move to Hvindeneiet later:

Siri actually gave birth to twins with Christian as the father already in 1862, five years before they got married. One twin was stillborn, and the other twin only lived for one hour. He was baptized at home and was called Niels. Christian is registered on the farm Hvindeneiet:

The original, entry number 311:

Christian and Siri give birth to Sophie on January 27, 1868. Sophie gets baptized on April 9, 1868. They are still living at the farm Gjøvigeiet:

I cannot find other children from Christian and Siri then Sophie, so probably Kristian Otto was born in Minnesota. The date and birthyear for Christian differ from what you have from the tombstone. That was quite common in those days. I’m quite sure this is the correct Christian and Siri.

Ole in 1823 at the farm Horgen (Holge?):

Peder in 1831 at the farm Hougtvedteiet:

Hans in 1834 at the farm Hougtvedteiet:

When Niels Knudsen gets married to Siri Pedersdatter, he lives on the Stadumseiet farm. He is probably the illegit child Niels, who is born on this farm in 1792 to unmarried mother Anne Persdatter. She claims that the father of Niels is Knud Christiansen from the Sanne farm. Entry number 4 on left hand side:

In the census from 1801 unmarried mother Anne Pedersdatter (Persdatter) is still living at the Stadumeiet farm, and the son Niels Knudsen is now nine years old. Here we also get the birthyear 1767 for Anne Persdatter:
