Inger Hohler Skrevet Juli 9, 2023 Del Skrevet Juli 9, 2023 (endret) Are you sure the ship's name was in English, and that "Remember" isn't an English translation of its name? The reason why I ask is that there was a steam ship called Munin at the time. It travelled at least between Norway and Portland. Munin was the name of one of Odin's (Woden's) ravens according to our mythology, and the name means "Memory", or the act of remembering. At that time, mythological names were fairly popular. Munin was in New Your in December 1904 according to "Norges Sjøfartstidende" (Roughly translated: Norway's Seafaring Times), December 27 1904. Endret Juli 9, 2023 av Inger Hohler Added Munin in New York. Lenke til kommentar Del på andre sider
