From Gards og Slektshistorie for Nes i Hallingdal, Bind 1 under Espelund / Aspelund farm beginning page 574-575 says this about Per Finnsen and family:

Per Finnsen from Finneplassen under Lindelien in Flå, born 1725 d ca 1766 was married in 1753 with Kjersti Rasmusdtr from øvre Storeli b 1725 d 1802

Their children:

Rasmus Persen b 1753

Kari Persdtr b 1755

Inge Persdtr b 1756

Margit Persdtr b 1758

Liv Persdtr b 1761

Ambjørg b 1763 confirmed 1781 called of Toen

Per Persen b 1766 d 1773

In 1751 Per Finnsen was written up for an "indiscretion" (leiermål) with one from Krødsherad which happened four years before when he lived in Krødsherad and before he was confirmed....In 1753 one of the godparents (or witnesses) for baptism of Rasmus Persen was named Liv Rasmusdtr who is thought to be a sister to Kjersti.  The son Per Persen who died in 1773 was called "Nordrelieie."  .... In 1801 Kjersti was a beggar and lived with a sister and brother-in-law on Ånplassen.  (Plus numerous other detailed mentions of Kjersti as from Li and Lifjerdingen in 1795, 1800 and 1801 and discussion about what farm Nordrelieie belongs to.)

In the same volume on page 417-419 farm øvre Storeli deals with Kjersti and her family:

Her father is Rasmus Jensen also from øvre Storeli who was born 1701 and died 1751.  In 1725 he married Ambjørg Mortensdtr from Smedsmyre farm who was born 1702 and died 1773.  Their children are:

Kjersti b 1725 d. 1802 married 1753 to Per Finnsen from Flå lived sometime at Espelund (under Gullingsrud)

Ragnhild Rasmusdtr b 1727 was alive in 1751 and also in 1764 in Flå

Margit Rasmusdtr b 1731 was baptized on 13 January d 1801 and was married in Flå to Hermund Jonsen, lived  on Moen (under Nigarden Gulsvik) in Flå and at last on Ellingplassen (Hermundsbråten, under the same farm...)

Liv Rasmusdtr b 1734 d. 1734 of "barnekop"

Liv Rasmusdtr b 1735 still lving in 1751

Jens Rasmussen b 1739 d. 1784 married Guri Eilevsdtr lived at øvre Skale  (under Benterud)

Morten Rasmussen b 1742 d 1751

Jon Rasmussen b 1745 d 1784 married 1770 with 1770 with Barbo Persdtr from Persmoen and she is thought to be living in 1801 on Tupperud under Berg aged 70 years and she was "legslem" and was still living in 1803.

An interesting tidbit was mentioned one of the children of Jon Rasmussen named Rasmus Jonsen b 1773 d 1859 was the model for a painting by A. Tideman titled "De ensomme gamle" painted in 1849.

Rasmus Jensen 1701-1751 was the oldest child of Jens Rasmussen b about 1672 for whom there was an estate settlement in 1743 who was married in 1699 to Ragnhild Torsteinsdtr from Nigarden søre Nørdre Li b about 1674 .  Rasmus was one of 6 children.

Thank you Jackie! Yes, we did previously locate:

Looks like the author of the book was just as unsuccessful as us in finding out more information. Unfortunately I am not looking for information of Kirsti's ancestors but her descendants 😞 I assume perhaps then after all that since I did not find a confirmation for Rasmus, Kari, Margit and Liv, that they may have died before their confirmation age? I also didn't find death entries. This then should only leave Ambiør and Inge...

When I looked in the Nes 1801 census, I only found:

I suspect there may be death records between 1753 and 1801 for Rasmus, Kari, Margit, Liv, and Peder Finnsen in Ministerialbok nr. 2 - 5, when I previously looked I didn't find them:

Looks like what Inger previously found on the 14 year old Kiersti Ramusdatter on Farm 217 here supposed is supposed to be our Kjersti?

Happy Holidays to the both of you as well! 🎅

You should be heartened that Terje Østro (bygdebøker author)and you have each found the same things.  The man was expert.  Not sure what to make of this entry, though, family #217 some of the information is clearly erroneous if this is your Kjersti:

That's right, I wonder if it makes Kari Pedersdatter on 225 more likely to be our Kari Pedersdatter. I will try to find their marriage later, perhaps I can also review the confirmation records between Kari's Baptism and Marriage Record then again. Maybe I can then explore that avenue...

Looked from 1772 - 1787, trying to find the marriage of Arlach/Aslach Knudsen and Kari Pe[de]rsdatter, but was unable too. Looks like marriages between 1785 and 1786 weren't recorded.

73. Baptism of Peder Arlachsen of Arlach Knudsen and Kari Persdatter in 1787.

https://media.digitalarkivet.no/view/3050/19553/3

Interesting here Kari is referred to as Persdatter, I don't recognize any of the witnesses.

Disregard, looks like someone claimed this Kari Pedersdatter in this FamilySearch Tree https://www.familysearch.org/tree/person/details/LHKW-W1S. This makes me think that Kari is probably then dead like initially thought.

I did come along this entry, but by itself, it is probably worthless:

Death: 10 Mar 1852 Death, Burial: 8 Apr 1852 Kari Pedersdatter Langeberg 96 (~1756) in Nes

https://www.digitalarkivet.no/en/view/267/pg00000005984895

Previously, I didn't find much more about Ambiør and Inge Pe[de]rsdatter... I am not sure how "Beggars" were treated back then, but can it be possible that all of them eventually died and that nobody really cared about their whereabouts and that the only reason we know about Kirsti is because of her side of the family?

What do you both make of Ambiør Pedersdatter 45 (~1756) here on the farm Toen in Aurdal, Nord-Aurdal, Oppland, Norway in 1801?

Interesting is that Ambiørs' confirmation record also had the farm Toen in Nes. This Ambiør is off by 7 years and Aurdal seems to be 42 miles away, a seemingly long way from home, but could the entire farm "Toen" moved to a different place?

Disregard, looks like someone claimed this Ambiør Pedersdatter in this FamilySearch Tree https://www.familysearch.org/tree/person/details/G6B5-82K
