I think it is: 

Ole Alfsen: ? og Rangnild Peddersdr Snappen

I am not quite sure how to read the last syllabus of "Sna(p)pen"

I am not sure how much information you want or need on this family but for the record here is the family in the 1801 Census. Farm is Gotdland.

There are several children from Grue, Hedmark born around 1850 with father Alv (or Alf) Olsen and Eli Haagensdatter. Here is the Ancestry.com baptism record for a Haagen Alvsen born in 1754.

My goal with the family of Ole Alfsen and Ragnhild Pettersdatter, at this point, is to determine who is the wife of Arne Olsen, their son baptized on 24 Jan 1796.

 

There is a marriage record for Arne Olsen of Godtland and Olea Arnesdatter in Grue sokn, dated 27 Jan 1820.

 

Unfortunately there are two Arne Olsens on the 1801 census living on Godtland.  They are only 4 months apart in age.  One is the son of Ole Alfsen and Ragnhild Pettersdatter and the other is the son of Ole Arnesen and Marthe Olsdatter.  I'm trying to determine relationships to the two families thru baptismal witnesses and marriage cautionisters to help me understand which Arne Olsen of Godtland is married to Olea Arnesdatter.  Not much luck yet.  The marriage record of Arne Olsen and Olea Arnesdatter doesn't list the parents, so that is little help.

 

To complicate matters even more, there are three other Arne Olsens living in Grue sokn, whose birthdates are close to the Arne Olsens living on Godtland.

 

If I can find how the baptismal witnesses to the children of Arne Olsen and Olea Arnesdatter are related to the family, it should help pin down which Arne Olsen is married to Olea Arnesdatter.

In the original record for the marriage the bride has the farm name of Holmen.  Nr 5. 21 years old, which would put her birth about 1799

I did not find a good candidate under Olia, but this Olea is on Holmen Westre  farm in the 1801 Census  and was born in 1799,

Yes, I'm sure that is the person who married Arne Olsen of Godtland.  But I'm not sure which Arne she married.

I'm currently looking at the names of the baptism witnesses for the children of Arne Olsen and Olea Arnesdatter.  Hopefully I can establish some type of relatioinship with some of them to Arne Olsen.

 

Unfortunately, I don't have access to the Grue bygebøker.  But your suggestion about asking someone on arkivverket to look it up was a good one.  I'll start another topic requesting that help.
