Can anyone assist as to where I can find records of crew members or passengers who have that went on Steam ships from Norway to UK or USA?

At this stage I am looking for manifest lists for The Wilson line of ships namely SS Bravo from Norway.

I have this link but cant find passenger lists or crew lists.

Thank you

Oh by the way, this site requires your full name. So if you would add your last name it would be a big plus.

On the 1st of January 1891, S/S Bravo was in the port of Christiansund, and due to the census reporting that took place that day, the crew of 20 can be found in the census records starting with the Captain,

Charles Lawson, on page 12861

and on each consecutive page until Stewardess Sarah Jane Hijam on page 12880

Shipwright Fredrick Hallett on page 12864

The site that requires your full name is this site Arkivverket (Digital Arikvet). Here is a link to a topic on Norway-Heritage that hopefully will explain the issues with that site.

Børge is the originator and owner of Norway-Hertiage and he is talking with the Norwegian Genealogy site Slekt og Data about obtaining technical help with his very valuable but struggling site.

Thank you for this information, I had found that site and am very disappointed to see we can't access the information.

Hopefully after all the hard work that has been put into it will be revamped 🙂
