"My" Anton was born in Sør-Fron (Oppland) on August 25, 1871. He had a daughter out of wedlock in 1887 before running away to North America, where his exact whereabouts have been unknown. He could have settled both in USA and Canada. 

 

Sokndal in Rogaland is very far away from Sør-Fron in Oppland.

 

Since his brothers seems to have lived in either/or Canada and the US state of Washington, this might also have been where Anton lived out his days.

 

Norwegians generally settled mostly in Minnesota, Wisconsin, North Dakota and Canada. But also elsewhere.

Du har nok funnet korrekt person! 

 

Jeg trodde han utvandret i 1888, men 1887 er nok riktig.

 

Kan han ha endt opp i Canada til slutt? Erfaringsmessig er det litt vanskeligere å finne igjen folk der enn i USA.
