Thank you so much Jackie for all the digging you've been doing. You've certainly managed to uncover certain sources that I failed to track down. Where can I find the article "Rueslekten fra Hol" that you mentioned? I searched for it in Nasjonalbiblioteket, but I can't seem to find it there.

Jeg er "genealogist" for Hallinglaget i Amerika!  Hallingen has been published since 1912 (and before that 1908-1912 as Halling-Minne) by the Hallinglag.  Back then it was mostly in Norwegian and now, of course, it's in English.   Some, not all, early issues were digitized and are available for search in Hathitrust.org   I'd guess some issues might be available at familysearch.org, as they were digitized in 2005 by them but I've yet to see on their website.  Paper sources in Norway might be in Aal or Hol as the organization used to send to archives there but they may not have kept them.

That's good to know. It must be so exciting to work for Hallinglaget! Hallingen is definitely a source a need to spend some more time familiarizing myself with. Again, thank you for all the information you've generously shared up to this point!
