Good evening,

Can I get assistance with #30?

What is the meaning of column #7 with Svend Sletto and Torkel Kleppe written in it? And what is the meaning of column #8 that has Thor Willamd? Are there no parents written for the Marriage here?

Best,

Simon

Column #7 says "Forlovere" (Best man/witness to the marriage).

Column 8 says "Tillysningsdagerne" (banns of marriage read on three consecutive Sundays) - "4de, 5te Søndag e. Paaske, Christi Himmelfart".

Column #9 says: "Af hvem tillysning forlangt", i.e. the person that requested the banns of marriage to be read: "af Thor Willand" (requested by Thor Willand).

Hagalisletto stood then for a while, so by count. 1845.
New buildings came 1850.

1850. Andres Torbjørnson Kjellargardeige, Vats, — Hagalisletto b 1799 d 26/3 1878 g 1846 m Birgit Sveinsdtr. Augunset b 1814 and 2/1 1891.

Andres was the son of Torbjørn Andresson Kjellargardeige, Vats, b 1735, and his 2nd wife, Randi Bergisdtr. b ca. 1765. It seems that at the census of 1801 they lived at a place called Kluftejordet under Kjellargard in Vats. (Cf. Ål IV, p 46.) According to the "Prestelig rettigheds mandtal 1775" Torbjørn was first married to Ambjørg Knutsdtr., - Do you know where I can find this entry? - and then lived at a place under northern Ton in Vats; he was called Toplass when he married for the second time, to Randi Bergisdtr. - Is this the entry, it says Torbjiorn Olss. Thoe Plaads or not? #20 https://media.digitalarkivet.no/view/8545/42101/2

Torbjørn and Randi had 3 children:

  1. Andres Torbjørnson b 1799.
  2. Ola Torbjørnson born 1806.
  3. Ola Torbjørnson born 1808.

Andres and Ola II died. Båe came to Hovet. Ola was first a resident at Liabergstølen, lived in a loft there, was then in Heggedalen (see this), later for a while gardener at northern Sletto, and then in Eirsethagen (see this).
