One of the ancestors is Johannes Thomasen 1719. A Family Search site on Ancestry.com says that he was baptized October 25, 1720 i Nykirken, Bergen, Hordaland, Norway (FHL Film Number 123731). In the Moster/Bomlo bygdebok III, page 267, Johannes Thomassen, born 1719 was from Berhaug, Skanevik.

 

I am at a loss as to how I can find the documented evidence of the birth and baptism. As well, where can I find information on the residents of Berhaug, Skanevik.

 

I apologize for the lack of supporting text. I have pdf files of both the documents but had difficulty the one from the bygdebok.
