Who is the bride at this wedding.

I am a little confused as to the identity of the bride of this man Lars Andreason Båsmoen. Ancestry.com has his wife as Ane Andersdatter with father as Anders Hansen. Here is the Ancestry.com source.

Both wedding sources list her as 36 years old in 1839, born about 1803/1804

(not 26 years)

 

Parents are either 

Anders Hans.(Hansen),

in the official parish register (Ministerialbok),

or

Arent Ols(Olsen) Øvre Blyset i Bardahl og Hust.(hustru/wife) Ane

in the parish copy (Klokkerbok)

 

Blyset is geographically located within 500m from Breimo, where an Anne Abelone was baptized in 1804. However, the parents were Arne Anderssøn and Gjertrue Olsdatter.

 

My guess (starting hypothesis) would be that Ane Abelone from Breimo is the correct bride, and that she lost her parents at early age, and therefore, at the wedding, few people knew the correct identity of her parents.

 

However, there are certainly also other possibilities. Including that two girls with the name Ane Abelone were born the same year in Bardal, and only one was entered in the church records.

This is most likely her confirmation, no 6, which supports the idea that Ane Abelone from Blyset is the correct bride

Anders Hansen was not Anne Abelones father, but her brother-in-law, and most likely her guardian in 1839
