[#1365] Foster children in Spangereid, Vest-Agder

I believe that I have identified my maternal grandmother and her siblings in the 1900 census, but they apparently were orphaned sometime between 1892 and 1900, so they are scattered in different families as serving girls or foster children. How can I gain access to the 1890 census to obtain information on their parents. They all used the patronym Carlsen or Karlsen, and their given names and birth years were Theodora (1884), Klaudine (1886), Karl (1887), Harald August (1889) and Karlotte Karoline (1892).

The lists from the 1890 census will be found at Riksarkivet, Oslo, but I think it would be more useful to contact Statsarkivet i Kristiansand, (mail: statsarkivet.kristiansand@riksarkivaren.dep.no, as they keep the parish registers of Spangereid.
