[#1406] Geography of Hedmark 1801-1865

In an attempt to research the forefathers of my ggrandfather, Bernt Haagenson, and his wife Maren I am thoroughly confused about the parishes in Hedmark. Bernt was from the Solør area. I have found potential father and grandfather living in Ringsager in 1801 and Våler in 1865. I have also found another possibility in Elverum. I need direction on where to find a map which shows location and proximity. In American records of 1880 and 1900, Maren's surname is Sveiven. I have found a farm in 1865 census that has this as an addendum to Korsgaarden. Can anyone help

Solør is the area between Kongsvinger and Elverum, and included are parishes Grue (with Brandval) and Hof (with Våler and Åsnes).Korsgaarden is a farm in Åsnes, and "Sveiva"/Sveiven is a part of a farm in Åsnes.Parish registers from the Solør area are found at Statsarkivet i Hamar, email: statsarkivet.hamar@riksarkivaren.dep.no
